Sustainability Policy

We are proud to integrate environmentally conscious practices into the 2025 Effie Awards Europe for yet another year. Together, we can celebrate our industry while fostering positive change for the planet.

Here’s how we’re making sustainability a central part of the event:

  1. Waste Reduction Initiatives
After the event, our vendors will reuse stage components and other materials wherever possible to extend their lifespan and reduce landfill waste.
  2. Sustainable Food Choices
Our gala menu will feature delicious vegetarian dishes designed with the planet in mind. Enjoy a flavourful dining experience that aligns with our commitment to sustainable food choices.
  3. Going Digital
To minimise paper usage, all event information will be accessible online. Stay informed, access resources, and engage with us digitally, helping us reduce unnecessary waste while staying connected.

How You Can Help

Sustainability is a shared journey, and we invite you to join us in making a positive impact. Here’s how you can contribute:

  1. Choose Sustainable Travel
Opt for eco-friendly transport, such as trains, to reduce your carbon footprint and enjoy a convenient, responsible journey to Brussels.
  2. Use Public or Active Transport On-Site
The Art & History Museum is well-connected by public transport and easily accessible by bike, foot, or carpooling. Choose greener ways to get around locally.
  3. Don’t Buy, Rent
Looking for the perfect outfit? Consider renting instead of buying new – it's a stylish and sustainable choice.

Thank you for supporting our efforts – we look forward to welcoming you to Brussels in December!
